"My greatest hope is that, in time, our wisdom will become as perfect as our knowledge." — From the gleaning journal of H.S. Prometheus, the first World Supreme Blade, Scythe
Scythe Prometheus was one of the founding scythes and the first World Supreme Blade.
Biography[]
Prometheus was the scythe that found out about the romance between Scythe Curie and Scythe Faraday. After they were brought before the Global Conclave, Scythe Prometheus saw fit to give them a less severe punishment due to the renowned skill and status of both scythes. He sentenced them to seven deaths (one for each year of their relationship). Then he forbade them from having contact with each other for the next seventy years.
Prometheus and the other founding scythes eventually murdered each other, due to the disagreements and factions caused on if the Scythedom should be put in place, and how the Scythedom should act, if it was to be put in place.
It is implied he was directly responsible for Scythe Sappho and Scythe Confucius's "self-gleanings," by how Scythe DaVinci's journal specifically calls him out.
Legacy[]
In his birth place Pittsburgh, MidMerica, there is a great memorial, the Mortality Memorial, in the heart of the city, with larger than life white marble statues of the founding scythes.
His journals can be found in the Library of Alexandria. His robe and ring were preserved in the Vault of Relics and Futures in Endura. He oversaw the construction of said island.
