Nimbus agents are the representatives of the Thunderhead.
Description[]
Becoming a Nimbus agent is a 5-year process, comprising 4 years of study at the Nimbus Academy followed by a year out in the field as a journeyman agent.
Classes in the Academy consist of the study of history, philosophy, digital theory, and law. [1]
Duties[]
Nimbus agents are representatives in charge of making sure the jurisdiction of the Thunderhead is respected, they also help maintaining the planet, handle the governmental aspects of the Thunderhead's relationship with humankind, and overall work for the betterment of humankind.
Another one of their duties is related to unsavories. Every unsavory is assigned a Nimbus agent for probational meetings at the Office of Unsavory Affairs.
Additionally, they are in charge of official trialogues, which is the only type of communication the Thunderhead can have with the Scythedom. it works as an audience by proxy, a scythe conveys a message to an Interlocutor and they pass it onto a Nimbus agent, who analyzes the message and if the agent deems that responding doesn't violate the Separation of Scythe and State, the agent answers, and the Interlocutor passes on the message to the scythe. Such audiences always take place in cathedrals of the Age of Mortality, in the confessional, a three-compartment structure perfect for official trialogues. The scythe takes the booth on the right, the Interlocutor sits in the center, and the Nimbus agent representing the Thunderhead sits on the left. [1]

Appearance[]
The official attire of a Nimbus agent is a gray-colored suit with a sky blue tie, meant to resemble a cloudy colored sky.[3][1][4]
History[]
Nimbus agents are the physical form of the Thunderhead's governance. The Thunderhead didn't have to create the Authority Interface as it could handle everything itself but it determined it was a better idea to have human representatives rather than a robotic body or a team of robotic bodies.
