History[]
Formerly known as New York City in the Age of Mortality, the Thunderhead renamed it after the tribe who sold the land to the Dutch.

Many of the mortal-age bridges were abandoned in favor of ferries to the city.
Statue of Liberty[]
The green cooper was replaced with gold and the flame with rubies just before the former major gave control of the city to the Thunderhead.
Verrazzano bridge[]
Verrazano bridge in the Age of Mortality.
It was named after the mortal-age explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano. The bridge is painted a muted cerulean frost.
Even though it was abandoned, and no longer served its original purpose being replaced by the arrival to the city by ferry, since the bridge's pylons resembled an inverted tuning fork the Tonists claimed it as their own as a relic of religious significance after the sinking of Endura, and the sounding of the Great Resonance. The Toll used to hold court underneath the western pylon of the Verrazzano bridge.
