Arc of a Scythe Wiki

As this wiki is slowly becoming more popular, it is important to lay down some ground rules. Certain rules come down to Moderator Discretion.

Rules

1. Follow Fandom's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Failure to do so will result in a block.

2. No, racial, gender, religion, or any hate speech/slurs/discrimination against any group. Opinions are allowed so long as they are expressed in an appropriate manner.

3. Spam is not tolerated. (Repeat the same message multiple times or the same message on multiple articles.)

4. Comments should be preferably related to the article, or at least related to the book.

5. Avoid linking inappropriate links (links not specifically related to the book or the article or the current discussion.)

6. No NSFW content (links or otherwise)

7. All users should be treated with respect, this includes respecting others' opinions. If you find an alternate account, made for getting around a ban, also contact an admin. If you've known you can suffer consequences as an accomplice. You're hurting them by allowing them to continue their ways.

8. Don't share personal information. Even if it's someone you trust, you shouldn't give that stuff out as it is private to you.

9. Keep swearing down as we do have a wide audience, but excessive swearing even after being asked to stop can result in a ban. If a person won't stop swearing, you'll have to ignore them or bring it to a moderator's attention.

10. Don't use alternate accounts in comments or to edit on the wiki. Use your main or not at all.

11. Don't support vandalism or feed the trolls. If seen you will be banned or blocked for a certain amount of time at the moderator's discretion.

12. If you are caught breaking these rules, a mod or Admin has the permission to ban you for a time that they deem fit.

Moderator and Discussion Moderator Rules (Because Scythe Taught Us What Happens When Power is Above Rules)

1. You cannot ban/kick an account for no reason.

2. Don't be a hypocrite, Follow those above rules as a normal user would. Excessive breaking of these rules will have your status removed at the discretion of an Admin.

3. Overall, don't be like Goddard. You were given this power for a reason. Use your power responsibly.
